The Dallas Bar is welcoming dynamic guest speaker and book author Betty Ann Kilby Fisher on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. in Room W38 at Mountain View College, as a part of this year’s 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision. Ms. Fisher will discuss the history of desegregation in America, as well as her book Wit, Will, and Walls. In 1958, the author was involved in a historical case that opened doors for students of all races to be equally educated together in Warren County, Va., a case which led to the state’s governor closing down the county’s only high school under the Massive Resistance Laws.
